The Ultimate Settings for WP Super Cache

Installation time: 5 minutes.

Easy

From the Easy tab enable Cache.

Advanced

Cache

Check: Cache hits to this website for quick acess. (Recommended)

Check: Use PHP to serve cache files. (Recommended)

Miscellaneous

Check: Compress pages so they’re served more quickly to visitors. (Recommended).

Check: Don’t cache pages for known users. (Recommended).

Check: Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url).

Check: Cache rebuild. Serve a supercache file to anonymous users while a new file is being generated. (Recommended).

Advanced

Check: Mobile device support. (External plugin or theme required. See the FAQ for further details.).

Check: Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.

Check: Extra homepage checks. (Very occasionally stops homepage caching) (Recommended).

Check: Only refresh current page when comments made.

Check: Coarse file locking. You probably don’t need this but it may help if your server is underpowered. Warning! May cause your server to lock up in very rare cases!

Expiry Time & Garbage Collection

Cache Timeout: 1800 seconds.

Timer: 600 seconds.

CDN & Contents

Choose your desired CDN options.

Here you can regenerate cache stats.

Preload

Refresh preloaded cache files every 1440 minutes.

Preload all posts

Check: Preload mode (garbage collection only on legacy cache files. Recommended.)

Check: Preload tags, categories and other taxonomies.

Plugins & Debug

Leave it as it is.

Delete Cache and you are all done!
